國立台灣科技大學於民國八十四年即開設中等學校教育學程，之後成立本﹙師資培育﹚中心主持其課程，旨在培育具豐富教學知能及教育熱誠的中等學校優良教師。每年招收校內各系、所學生，共九十名，授以完整優質師資培育課程，得以通過中等學校教師資格鑑定考試，適任教於國民中學、高級中學及高級職業學校。

    本課程須修習26個教育專業學分及半年全職實習。教育專業必、選修科目多元化，包括教育心理學、教育概論、課程發展與設計、輔導原理與實務、教育測驗與評量、教材教法、教學媒體、教育法規、教育社會學、發展心理學、班級經營、教育哲學、兩性教育、特殊教育概論、創意教學策略等數十餘門課。

    本中心師資陣容優異，術業專精之專兼任教授涵蓋了以上課程領域，其學術與實務兼備、創意新、效能高、領導前沿研究、並積極參與國內外教育與研究社群活動。

    因此，本中心業已榮獲93及97年度大學校院師資培育評鑑一等之殊榮。

Introduction

        National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) established the Secondary School Teacher Education Program in 1995. Later, the Teacher Education Center was founded to oversee the program, with the mission of cultivating outstanding secondary school teachers equipped with rich pedagogical knowledge and a passion for education. Each year, ninety students from various departments and graduate institutes are admitted to receive a comprehensive and high-quality teacher training curriculum. Upon completion, they are eligible to pass the Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination and serve as qualified teachers in junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational high schools.

        The program requires students to complete 26 credits of professional education courses and a six-month full-time internship. The curriculum offers a wide range of compulsory and elective courses, including Educational Psychology, Introduction to Education, Curriculum Development and Design, Principles and Practice of Guidance, Educational Testing and Evaluation, Instructional Materials and Methods, Instructional Media, Educational Laws and Regulations, Sociology of Education, Developmental Psychology, Classroom Management, Philosophy of Education, Gender Education, Introduction to Special Education, Creative Teaching Strategies, and many more.

        The Teacher Education Center boasts an excellent faculty team. Both full-time and adjunct professors specialize in the above fields, combining academic expertise with practical experience. They are innovative, efficient, leaders in cutting-edge research, and actively engaged in domestic and international educational and research communities.

        As a result, the Center was awarded First-Class honors in the Teacher Education Evaluation for universities in 2004 and 2008.
